well in the street fighting redux scenario the allies can buy up to 4 of these indirect fire weapons + a couple of howitzers

not only does the german infantry get slaughtered by indirect artillery fire (and have only one arty of their own), german tanks take a beating as well...

I just blasted 2 panthers in a one turn with 2 M8s firing indirect....

perhaps the power of this thing should be toned down, and the numbers available for purchase in the street fighting scenario reduced

I agree, Priest (M7) and Wespe are too powerful, and cost a half of a big tank.
These units will balance a scenario in its side. Should be limited to one by side and cost as a big tank (now cost half).

Hey Tmoj, Had first thought you meant the M8 Greyhound, and was thinking how in heck did you take out two Panthers with that? But just got a couple of M8 howitzers in a Merr's QB scenario and managed to bombard a Panther into slitherines too... Quite different from a Greyhound. Nice... They're seriously uprated as a bombard, and useful as a direct fire medium tank too... Haven't played Street Fighting Redux lately but if the Yanks get too many of these, the Germans would need some fast tanks close enough to take them out...
