What difficulty am I playing on?

I have a old save game that I want to play, but am trying to find out what difficulty setting I had the game on when I started.
Is there any way to find this out? I can't find anything with the information within the game.

As far as I know, there is no way to tell after you start.

Muddy, the information about what difficulty you are/were playing at is not stored anywhere I'm afraid, but you might be able to find out in a very indirect manner. All I now about this is posted in this earlier topic, I'm sorry I do not have anything more specific:

Maybe a feature for future patch's. When you come back to a game, it's good to know what you were up to, as time can make one forgetful.
