Light Foot shot thru by Arty

Hi All ,

Am I right in thinking that my LF can be right up to an enemy BG , ie 1 mm from their front edge but my Arty can still target the enemy BG ? ( assuming the guns are in arc etc )

The only restriction is when the enemy come within 8 " of my guns ?

If so , a Superior LF group supported by 2 gun BGs are pretty powerful .

Yes, you're right they can be as close as you like to the enemy, but there is one more restriction, the LF also have to be more than 3MUs from the artillery (P109).

Sure , but running LF forward and then dropping shots just past their toes onto a enemy BG is fine . That's some good optics on that arty

Either that or the artillery aren't bothered by a bit of collateral damage.
