Incredible, I never knew it was possible to reach the island!
I think hard enough I can finish in DV and keep my health units. So much so that the two cycles that I passed the scene, I did not conquer all the objectives of the riverbank.
Congratulations!
I did it only to capture those two units and didn't take any other hexes in the city which in colonel level it is not that hard
I hope I copied all the locations etc. correctly. Not many units to be captured, but I listed some other bonuses as well, to fill it out a bit. Anyway, happy hunting:
DLC: GC '45 West
St. Vith
On turn 3, you are given a stength 12 Jagdtiger anti-tank, with hero: +2 attack, +2 move and +2 spotting.
Bastogne Siege
At the start, you will receive 10 auxiliary units, 7 x V1 and 3 x V2. These need to be evacuated off the map for a DV, although they can be launched and used (switch). Evacuated V-weapon units are available in the next scenario.
Bastogne Assault
On turn 2 you receive a strenght 13 SE Bf 110G tactical bomber with hero: +3 attack, +7 defense and +6 initiative.
Liège
On turn 2, three jet aircraft are provided for your core:
2 x Gotha Go-229 fighter, each strength 12.
1 x Arado Ar-234B tactical bomber, strength 11.
In this scenario, it is possible to receive prestige bonuses when you destroy enough supply dumps, which are scattered around the map.
When you destroy any three of them: receive 1000 prestige.
Destroy three more: receive 2000 prestige.
Destroy the remainder to receive 3000 prestige.
Messages are shown when each bonus is awarded. Their locations:
Two are relatively close to the starting positon: (23,17) (16,25)
A couple near Liège: (9,17) (11,13) (12,13) (14,15)
The remaining are widely spread out near the edges of the map: (5,3) (13,3) (30,2) (4,23)
Antwerp
Again, it is possible to receive prestige bonuses when you destroy enough supply dumps/oil pumps.
First four destroyed: 1500 prestige.
Destroy four more: 2500 prestige.
Destroy them all: 4000 prestige.
Messages are shown when each bonus is awarded. Their locations:
Roughly along the Albert Canal: (33,26) (29,15) (17,16) (19,17) (16,12)
A bit further north (35,10) (18,9) and south (16,25) (18,25) of the Albert Canal.
North of Antwerp: (11,5) (11,6) (11,7)
South of Antwerp: (6,15) (7,14) (8,14)
Gates of Berlin
Evacuate Generalfeldmarschall Habermann (the Sd.Kfz 222 recon car) off the map, and receive:
SE Maus tank with hero (+2 move, +1 spotting), strenght 13. Spawns at (2,28).
Note: The supply dump at (9,14) will spawn 6 auxiliary V1 missiles around it on turn 9, but only if it is still on the map.
Placing a unit directly on top of a hex where another unit is set to appear actually blocks the second unit. You don't want to be doing that.
It's also why many bonus and mission critical units are either very far out of the way (corner of the map) or simply placed on terrain that is uncross-able and sometimes masked.
Additional clarification about Ilovlya: This unit, which APPEARS on 3,23, is not generated by occupying 3,23, but by clearing Sector B of enemy units--you don't need to be near 3,23 when this finally takes place, and you definitely don't want a unit right on that hex when it does. This is unlike most captured units, which appear on a hex adjacent to a flagged hex on the turn following capture of the hex. But even in those cases, if you have a unit on top of the adjacent hex where the captured unit is supposed to appear, it won't.
Thanks, I was Murphy and had placed a unit right into the corner (1,24) and didn't bother about it anymore for the final turns. The KV appeared in corner (1,24 and not 3,23 where the B is) after I moved the unit away. Yeah, I was too used to the city tile capturing when captured units appear adjacent to them afterwards, that's why the coordinate 3,23 irritated me somewhat.
Oops, sorry for confusing 3,23 and 1,24--I didn't double check to see exactly where the KV appeared. I guess it appears "as if" you got it by taking 3,23 (i.e., adjacent to that hex), but that's not what actually causes it to happen--you get it when you clear the whole sector. Earning captured units for doing things other than taking specific hexes becomes much more common in GC West. But (as far as I can tell) the captured units are still pegged to specific "appearance" hexes and won't appear if you have units on those hexes.

Just got to Warsaw North, captured Miase, Stanislawow, Minsk M., and Gadka - no captured artillery in sight! Tried leaving cities unoccupied after converting the flag, and keeping units in the cities - nothing. Played until the last turn... Any possible explanation?

Usually the problem of mission special units not appearing, such as the artillery in Warsaw, is due to an outdated or modded equipment file. Have you installed any user custom modifications? If so, you may want to see if the author has an updated equipment file or you may want to remove your custom files and replace them with the default Panzer Corps equipment file.
Nothing custom. Maybe the order of installation? I installed vanilla game then AK. After a short period, I installed patch 1.13, then all DLC's in succession ('39-'45).
Another point (probably intentionally built into the game?): After reaching 225 experience points, my units stopped gaining further experience in the Polish campaign...

The order of installation is important, to be sure I would always install patch 1.13 last. I install the vanilla game first, then AK, then the DLC's, and to be sure I do the 1.13 patch last. You don't have to re-install your current installation, just re-patch it with 1.13, it should have all the correct files. If you keep having problems, just post your issue in the 'Tech Support' sub-forum viewforum.php?f=146.

That is correct, it's intentional. Later in the campaigns, this maximum is increased. For example, in the 1940 Grand Campaign, it's set at max. 325 experience.
Sorry to be gone for a while, I have been out of the loop due to a combination of PC and health issues. I am back now though and I have updated the OP with '45 West info.
Thx..glad to see ya' back and glad you beat whatever was ailing you

Yes I have 4 of those. I am just about to start Operation Husky. Happy that the Commonwealth forces are part of the game, but unhappy that I can't have Aussies, Kiwis and Canadians as part of my core!
