Re: Challenges and results – Medieval, season 10
Div A
ianiow (English) 26/43
CaveHobbit (French) 40/38
L'Obbit de Cava, Marshall of France, lined his infantry on the central hill but the English longbowmen on the plain were too numerous and the french had to charge down to chase them off where they met the English Men at Arms. The French knights on the wing were held up by skirmishers just long enough to keep them being decisive in the battle.
A good hard fought match.

Re: Challenges and results – Medieval, season 10
Reminder for y'all that results get entered to the LEFT of the black boxes on the results sheeets! I made a couple of corrections and fixed some erroneous entries today. If you overwrite the calculated fields to the right of the black boxes, the results won't tabulate correctly.

Re: Challenges and results – Medieval, season 10
I think we should all congratulate Bagration -- he has come a long way.
In his first LoEG season he literally screwed up the results sheets every possible way. There are about three no-no's and he managed to execute all of them, earning the nickname 'the half-wit'.
Of course, I had already earned the nick name 'the thick' by screwing up several times, myself.

Div C
kmaher (Anglo Irish-Early) 48/49 bt jonathan4290(Timurid) 28/28
No idea how I won this... I was way behind all game, struggling with bad rolls and anarchy. I expect Jonathan probably thought he had it rapped up by turn 6 and I even offered my congratulations the turn before. Yet somehow I got one more turn and with a couple of rear charges i managed to limp to victory.

Thank you for the game Pete.
This was the worst score yet for me.
From here on it can only get better!

Despite stakes the English longbows just didn't seem to be able to resist Polish charges. Thanks for the game.
