Hi, ;)

Let me be the first to congratulate. Nice, athmospheric new intro, nice new UI pictures and music. These things really add to the immersion factor in my view, and that is why I do the same. I also like your interpretation of the "Little-war". Marginal Victory, all objectives recaptured, except Sobrance. I lost a core Lt-35 tank, though. :(

Keep up the good work.

regards,
McGuba

Thanks McGuba, :)

I'm glad that you liked what I've done so far. Your work on the "Hungarian Mod" was of great help for me. :)

It's unfortunate that we don't have a "campaign challenge" which is : Many forum members play a precise campaign of a designer at the same time and while they play, they also write their AAR on each scenario of this campaign on the forum. It's a good and fun way to compare the playing of many players.

Maybe a MP map of the border clash would be useful. ;)
But how to setup the different strenght-versions of the Hungarian, Slovak units...?

PzC SLOVAKIA MOD 1.0a

I added one new scenario (Saratovskaya) and made some changes on the campaign (number of turns, prestige, units, etc...) :)

Image

Last scenario will be the "Slovak National Uprising".

The campaign is for the moment completed. (I could possibly add 5 more scenarios but I think that I've made the most important ones.)
I did my best to keep this campaign as historical as possible.

I hope that you'll give it a try and that you'll enjoy it. :D

Hi! This one came as a real surprise to me as I was not aware there is a Slovakian campaign available. Tried it yesterday for the first time and had a lot of fun. Just wanted to see how it looks but played the whole first scenario then. Was more demanding than one may think at a first glance. Took me all turns to gain the victory. Very well done. Many thanks! I'm looking forward to continue your campaign AugustinMalar :)

I'm very happy to see that you've enjoyed the first scenario. :D
Please keep me inform of your progress during the rest of the campaign. I need comments to improve my campaign. :)
Also it's fun to know that someone is actually playing my campaign, 8)

I made new modified unit icons for the Hungarian Fiat 3000 tank and the 29M Crossley armoured car in case you want to add these to a future version of your mod.

Earlier I wrote:
By the way the Hungarian army had only five Fiat 3000s and they were only used for traninig according to my sources. And there were only two Crossley armored cars which were also used for training exclusively. Sorry, but for me these numbers are far too small to bother with the icons and even the Wiki article puts a question mark after them showing the uncertanty of their use in the Slovak-Hungarian "Little-war".
but now I found a new source, which claims that in January 1939 these were indeed part of the 2nd Motorized Divison due to the lack of more modern vehicles, and thus they could have been used in the offensive in March later that year. So I made these new modified icons which are a bit more accurate, I think:

No problem. I just realized that I wrote erroneously "2nd Motorized Division", correctly it is 2nd Motorized Brigade, obviously.

Do you know how to use the Generic Mod Enabler ? You will be able to add the Slovakia Mod with it.
viewtopic.php?f=147&t=27158

You must also add the Real Sound Mod Redux with the Generic Mod Enabler to get all the sounds.
viewtopic.php?f=147&t=30216

Good luck. :)

1- Made a minor correction on the "strings" file. (Thanks to Razz1)
2- Made a major correction on the "Saratovskaya" scenario.

New download link for PzC SLOVAKIA MOD 1.0b : http://www.sendspace.com/file/xmti04

For the people who already dowloaded the old version. Please update with this new version. :)
