After this weekend (April 1st) we will be wrapping up the Megapack BETA.
Thanks your efforts here and also in the DLC Update thread, we have everything we need, but if there's anything else that you discover, let us know ASAP as there is only a short time left!

Re: End of BETA Reminder
I noticed a little weird thing in the combat log when using the the Ju87 'Rudel' Stuka, the negative hero bonus causes the log to display both + and - symbols (see yellow arrows).
And maybe the Gebirgsjäger bonus unit (with Oleh Dir: +3move/+3ini) is too powerful, esp. in Norway, the large movement bonus might be reduced a bit. But it's nothing I can't get used to...
But so far I haven't encountered any real problems.

Re: End of BETA Reminder
I agree it does look a little funny, but if I remember my math right, technically that is still correct.
As for this and other such heroes. They are still only singular units. I've actually almost gotten Oleh killed (survived on 1 hp) so they can be lost to carelessness. Besides, giving these heroes extra special abilities seemed appropriate, as they are historical heroes, and a better alternative to increasing strength of the player's forces as opposed to just pumping up pre-made forces with standard heroes.
The earlier you start in the war (more content you play) the more of these heroes you will have the chance to accumulate. Seems like a fair bonus for playing through such an extensive amount of content.

Re: End of BETA Reminder
Since things are being wrapped up today, i played as far as Zolotonosha and found nothing out of the ordinary. The brandnew megapack DLC40 core went into DLC 41. I received some more special units on the way. It is true that some of the heroes might be "overpowered" but that doesn't mean that they are invincible. They are a nice addition to the players' core and as written, a nice bonus for starting the megapack in 39. I hope to continu my savegames in the "live" version or at least import my 39/40 savecores.
Re: End of BETA Reminder
Yes, I believe the math is still correct, and I had no trouble understanding it. Hey, it's the worst thing I could find so far, I'm just bad at giving compliments
. I'll file it under 'educational Easter Egg'.
It just looked like the sort of thing that may induce panic attacks among those who might believe the game may be 'bugged'
and take to the forums to expose this. Actually, I already made a bet with myself how long it will take when it is released before someone will notice it.

Re: End of BETA Reminder
I think by now we even eliminated most typos and nobody found a breaking bug so far... time to wrap it up and move on to new, really broken stuff.
-> I am looking forward to start a non-beta Mega Campaign and this time I will prepare better for 1942+ and only play on General instead of FM.

Re: End of BETA Reminder
Sorry I just saw this one! I am still in the French campaign and I point out that the 88's you get as extra units come with transport other than prime movers. I am finding this in several of the scenarios. I pointed it out for the one but it is in a few of the old ones. I can get a list if needed.
