I previously posted this in the scenario design section of the forum, but perhaps this is a better spot, since it's about troubleshooting.
I want to edit two existing scenarios of the vanilla campaign of PzC. The problem is that I am unable to open any vanilla scenarios in the editor. When I press 'open' on a given scenario nothing happens.
The odd thing is that I have no problems opening the scenarios I have created myself.
My game is updated to v1.05 and the editor version I'm using is the one available for download on this link (unsure of what version that is):

Re: Modding stock scenarios
I've just checked myself, and I was able to do it, with vanilla campaign scenarios or DLC scenarios.
So I don't know what you're doing wrong.
Is the equipment file the one from vanilla game? Any mod installed?
Anyhow, have you considered to uninstall everything and install again?
In case you're considering it, for uninstalling:
First uninstall DLC. Only after that uninstall Panzer Corps
For installing:
Install Panzer Corps 1.0
DLC 39
DLC 40
Update 1.05
And the remaining DLCs
Copy 1.05 beta and editor that you've mentioned in this thread:

BTW it's good to see that you're returning and begin to create again scenarios.
So I don't know what you're doing wrong.

Re: Modding stock scenarios
I haven't got any sort of mods installed at all. The only thing that is custom made of any sort are my own scenarios. I haven't even got any DLC installed.VPaulus wrote:I've just checked myself, and I was able to do it, with vanilla campaign scenarios or DLC scenarios.

At first I thought perhaps the vanilla scenarios had some sort of protection, making them impossible to modify, but since others than me seem to be able to open them, the problem must be on my end.
I haven't considered uninstalling just yet as I see it as a last resort. Uninstalling and then installing is such a chore.
And thanks. I'm in the midst of creating a campaign (revolving around the vanilla campaign added with PG maps and my own created maps) and to make it all fit together I need to make a few slight modifications to two scenarios from the vanilla campaign. If I don't succeed in that the campaign won't be become what I have envisioned, so I really hope I will get the editor working somewhow.
Re: Modding stock scenarios
I've got the 1.13 version and would like to mod it. Could somebody tell me where I can find the scenarios? What are the file names? What are the graphics formats and animation formats? In other words, is there a more comprehensive manual available than the very basic editor manual?

Take a look at these guides:

Re: Modding stock scenarios
I would not have asked if I had found a download link. I am sorry for posting my question in the wrong section. Having worked for customer support myself I followed the rule that a customer may not know how to do something or contact the right person, but it is my duty to help and not say go find it yourself.
Re: Modding stock scenarios
I'm sorry, I should have explained better.
The information you want, and much more, are in those guides. But the best complement to the editor manual is the forum Scenario Design section itself. That's the section where modders post and can reply to your questions.
Not that's wrong to post your questions here, only it's not the proper place and the users who might reply to your questions might not read your post here. That's why I've directed you to the proper section.
Regarding your questions:
1 - Scenarios are found in the data folder. Edited scenarios in Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Scenario
2 - Panzer Corps use a native format for scenarios, pzloc and pzscn.
3- The graphic format is png. The same for animations.
4- Officially there's no other editor manual than the one that comes with the game.
