LF charging fragmented BG

I always thought that LF can charge all fragmented BG, but i cant find it in the rulebook.

Can someone tell me if i'm mistaken?

Hi rulethechaos

Are you talking V1 or V2?

In V2 LF cannot charge or intercept unbroken non-skirmishers in open terrain (even in the flank or rear).

They couldn't in V1 either,it says "unbroken enemy BG" fragmented troops are not broken

Possibly a confusion with the rule that lights no longer lose 1 dice per 2 when fighting fragmented f opponents?

That was true in V1 as well.
