A question on second round etiquette. Does the army remain exactly the same or is "tweeking" allowed, not that there is much leeway with the Swiss.

Yes tweeking of your army is allowed for as long as you keep the original army you have selected. So therefore you can change troop types ,commanders etc. :)

It is what it is and as we know in LOEG the irish are hard to stop funny that they never conquered the world eh , all good Chris was very gallant in my mauling and if I had one more turn maybe another 10bp would have succumbed still not enough.

The swiss are currently assaulting the wooded hill where my archers were hiding.
There should be a result in a few turns.

So far it's been limited to skirmishing. I made a bad choice of map and gave the Scots a combination of a stream with a steep hill on his right flank which he was able to line with longbowmen. The Irish haven't been enthused about charging the longbowmen either defending a stream or up hil so not much has happened so far. I think we've each lost 2 BP up till turn 6 or so.

Thanks Chris for the update. No rush with this one ,but must be a victory one way or the other. In the event of a draw whover inflicts higher losses will win.

batesmotel(Medieval Irish) 23/66
ScipioAsinus 9(Scots in France) 52/50

This finally ended on turn 17. After several turns of skirmishing/staring at the Scottish longbows lining the stream and the steep hills on the Scottish right, the Irish were able to make an attack through the forest on the Scottish extreme right and start eating away at the Scottish flank as both sides fed in forces. Combined with more skirmishing along the line and a late game Irish attack on the thinned out Scottish left flank finally ended the game. Scipio, thanks for an interesting and challenging game.
