Q for Rudankort: roll separately for kill and suppress?

Rudankort,

as you have probably seen in the thread on the Gustav rail gun, I remember seeing (I think) you indicate that units roll separately for kill and suppression. So a full normal strength unit with a 40% chance to kill and a 10% chance to suppress would first roll 10 times with 61-100 indicating a kill and then roll 10 more times with a 91-100 indicating a suppression.

Is that right?

No, the game does just one 1-100 die roll per shot, and then the result is interpreted as kill, suppress or miss.

Example: suppose a unit has kill chance 40%, suppress chance 10% and miss chance 50%. For each 1-100 roll the result will be interpreted as follows:
[1..50] - miss
[51..60] - suppress
[61..100] - kill

Rudankort, have you managed to find the cause of the spotting bug with the 'Undo Move' option unchecked? viewtopic.php?f=121&t=41219

Case posted a savegame, and I have been able to duplicate the issue.

I haven't checked yet, but I will by all means check and fix it in the next update. Now that the issue is reproducible, I don't see how this bug can escape me. :)
