Each team of two players brings two legal armies (one per player) at a maximum of 650 points per army. The two armies must each either be drawn from the same list, or one must be a permitted ally of the other. In any case, they must be from the same year. Prior to the tournament the team must select one player’s list as the CinC for purposes of pre-battle initiative and terrain choices. Each player on a team will deploy their army quartiles at the same time. The game will be played on an 8x4 board.
The event will be played in 15mm for sure, and also in 25mm is enough players show up. 25mm will be run the same as 15mm, with the following changes: the board will be 8x5, 1 MU will = 40mm, each player will bring a 600 point army. 25mm players are recommended to bring a 15mm army for back up.
All players are asked to arrive early to facilitate organizing the event.

Assuming V2.

As discussed last year, will you take a leaf out of Rob Cunningham's book and allow teams to enter the doubles, with the proviso only 2 players can take part per game?

Howdy folks:
Here are the results for 900 point Open tournament we had last weekend at Cold Wars. Eight players participated, which is lower than we have had in the past. However, a number of the usual suspects were playing in a FoG:R event at the same time. More on that in a later post.
Dan took the prize, but did so by avoiding me. <grin> I had quite a hoot using the Komnenan Byzantines. The 5" move for the armored KN is very useful, and the Varangians are bad to the bone. The big difference was 900 points: one can afford to buy the KN and the Varangians at the same time.
