Re: Runtime Error
Welcome.
Could you please post your DxDiag?
Do you have any mod installed?
Try to rename "video" and "audio" subfolders to "_video" and "_audio". You'll play with out any audio, but this way will see if your crashes are caused by a broken Windows MCI in your system.
I don't know, but something in your system is causing it.80013029 wrote:what is wrong??!!

Re: Runtime Error
Diagnostics show no problem in all areas. I switched of audio in game settings after reading few posts on the forum. Still same message appears. I have 64bit Win 7 and have no issues like that with anything else. Also I updated the version of the game to 1.05 and this did not change the situation. Who should I contact about it?
Re: Runtime Error
Something is interfering with Panzer Corps in your system. Has you've seen in our troubleshooting section, there aren't many people, if any, complaining with your error.
The most common errors are the already mentioned issue with the Windows MCI and codecs, and rarely with Internet security programs. This after one year of having launched the game.
We have many Windows 7 x64 users. The version of the Windows seems not to be important, because people seem to able to run in all Windows system after XP. So it seems that something in your system is not "liking" Panzer Corps.
You can also try to disable your Internet security program while playing, or if you know how, just give all permissions for Panzer Corps.

It's not enough just to switch off the audio in the game settings. Please rename the audio subfolders and try.80013029 wrote:I switched of audio in game settings after reading few posts on the forum.

Re: Runtime Error
your advise seems to be working so far...thank you
Re: Runtime Error
The problem occurs till I rename the audio folder. Could it happen because of some changes regarding the music.pzdat ? Or maybe PC doesn't work with a mixture of .wav / .mp3 ?
Re: Runtime Error
No the problem might not be caused by the mixture. What could be the cause is the audio tracks being much longer, due to the 1GB limit.mautschi wrote:The problem occurs till I rename the audio folder. Take a look at my initial post in this thread, regarding the 1GB limit:
