GS v2.14 soon out with map changes etc.
GS v2.14 will soon be out for download so if you want to start a new game I propose you wait until v2.14 is out so you can start the new game with the updated map.

We decided to make some more changes and go for GS v2.20 instead. That is now out for the alpha testers.
Additional changes will be that event messages will now have images and not just pure text. See examples in the GS v2.20 thread. We have also added sub evasion and surface ship sub sweeps.
At the moment we're looking at the possibility to have a weather overlay so the hexes get painted with the overlay when the weather is not fair. E. g. in the winter you will see white tint on the hexes, tan tint in mud etc. It's not done yet and we're just pondering the idea. It might be the end result won't look pretty so we can't promise anything.
GS v2.20 will be incompatible with GS v2.1 so games you start now can't be completed with GS v2.20.
I think GS v2.20 is still some weeks away because we need help from Slitherine to make an installer.

Ok, so I guess that there is no point in waiting for 2.2 ATM and we should stick to 2.1 for now?
