troubleshooting in win8 64bit

My Panzer Corps v1.13 can not work in win8 64bit. The setup is OK, But when I click the play button, the it will show the info of trouble during programme executing. How to solve the problem?

The system is win8-pro 64bit.My Panzer Corps v1.13 can not work with it. The setup is OK, But when I click the play button, the it will show the info of trouble during programme executing and quit automaticly. How to solve the problem?

When you right click the Panzer Corps icon, go to compatibility mode and check Windows 7, Vista, whatever works.

I am a bit surprised, a friend of mine has Windows 8 but I am not sure if it's 32 or 64 bit and he reported no problems.

Did you have the issue before updating to 1.13?
