Network Connection Lost... in SP?

This has happened to me about 5 times so far... I am playing a single player game and get an error telling me the network connection was lost. It dumps me back at the main menu.

Given I am playing against AIs and in SP mode, this sounds like a rather major bug...

Sounds like your server is crashing for some reason. Could you please attach your logs so I can take a look at them?

Last thing that happened before these logs were saved was getting this error; I immediately exited the game and zipped the logs.

Okay, thanks. I think I know what it is. Will try to get it fixed for the next version, Friday or so.

I've had the same problem now with my latest game. I load the game, move my units, and when I click "End Turn" I get the "Network Connection Lost" Error now three times in a row.

Is also the one where I'm getting connection lost, fairly regularly.

In single player I think we need to change the error message to something that does not include servers. It may be technically correct but people assume that means a connection to the web and some sort of intrusive DRM.

Just say:

"Failed to initiate game - please try again. If the problem persists please contact support. "
