Installation Feedback

While it did install/update, I've rarely encountered a program that can't handle its own install...
First, in order to GET the update you have to run the program - but then the update tells you OH you can't update, you're running the program! AND it installs fullscreen so no quick launch bar available...hmmm...
I have to CTRL/ALT/DEL just to get to the task manager, just to shut down the very same program I'm updating...doesn't make any sense.
Then it can't install the UPDATE because the INSTALLER FOR THE UPDATE IS RUNNING! - WHAT????
Dam good thing this is about the best wargame ever, or I'd be really complaining!
Most programs I "update" handle it flawlessly, without my needing to shut down/click this/stop that/etc.
Improving the install would be a good focus for you.
Still, it is SUCH a good game!

Do your customers complain to you in all caps too or do they speak a little more polite to you? No offense, I had the same problem (heck even Mozilla Thunderbird was too stupid to update itself at times, really annoying), but feedback can be given a little less... passionate.

Download the update manually from one of these mirros:

Unzip the downloaded file. Run the extracted file to update the game.

While we're at it. @VPaulus: Would it be possible to update the update application so it can check several mirrors to take the fastest one? Or do these mirrors not allow such downloads by your tool because it does not give them hit counts?

The application can not use external mirrors. These are just generic host sites for hosting game updates/patches and they are not directly connected with Slitherine/Matrix.

Everytime we release a patch for Panzer Corps is just like Blizzard releasing a Diablo game. There are no servers that can handle all those massive hits.

Just buy more Amazon cloud space/bandwidth. Oh and try p2p. Works wonderful for Wargaming.inc with each World of Tanks update.
