Trying to download the update, but in the beginning of the download it tells me there is an error opening an FTP file. Please advise.

Unzip the downloaded file. Run the extracted file to install the patch.

I also cant play multiplayer because of error:

Download the patch and install it and you'll be able to play the game in multiplayer.
