M16AA/Wirbelwind - Impact of suppression?

Post by GottaLove88s »

Pip/Iain,

Gents, when an M16AA or a Wirbelwind AA is suppressed, say to morale 10, I assume it can still fire in reaction to ground events (like tanks).
But can a suppressed AA defend against fighter-bombers? Or does the suppression mean it's crippled and unable to fire?

Thanks...

From the code in airstrike.bsf it appears that AA units will only work if not suppressed.

Thanks RF... That makes a LOT of sense... So it's a no brainer to suppress enemy AA, if we plan to use fighter-bombers... Great news!! :-)
