My First Impressions.

After first launching the game:
I really like how you get the trees to wave in the wind; if you could have the clouds moving a bit, and maybe the guy moving, it would complete the picture.

However, the menus are rather spartan, and need to be prettier, as well as being too small at 1920 x 1080.

Also, new cities (after the initial one) are extremely unproductive, taking 40 turns to build a basic building.

Furthermore, too many aliens at the default setting.

Additionally, too much tundra terrain.

Tanks and mechs are just as slow as infantry; in real life, a Leapord 2 can travel at 72km per hour.If this is the future, then these vehicles should be even faster than their present-day counterparts.

Also, anyone with the ability to go to another star system would find it child's play to have orbital real-time reconnaisance of every square centimetre of the entire planet; the US's NRO can just about do that to-day. This being the case, there should be no fog of war.

You should also be able to to build roads through forest tiles.

Fortifications should be able to be built on forest tiles.
