Godendag build up
Ok then who is going to godendag? Who'se using what? Anybody found a supremely wacky army choice to catch everyone out.
I hear Slaves mentioned by Hammy.
Terry and I will be appearing as Astrix and Obelix (ia meating pies at present to bulk up for the role!)
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Terry and i will be there Friday night. Arriving about 7pm. Staying at the hotel. Maybe fun for all to meet. Where be the travel lodge?
Last I heard there was roughly speaking 8 teams in the ottomans and 16 in the the Rome period. Give or take a few. Richard the official voice on that though so don't hold me to it precisely.
Richard in the Ottoman period and Terry and I attempting to sack rome with our Gauls

Godendag Runners and Riders
9 different armies out of 16 teams in the popular Rise of Rome section. A bit less variety in the Rise of the Ottomans (5), but the player pool is smaller (8 ), and I suspect the narrow range of armies reflects the armies that people have already. There are plenty of other viable armies in the book.
Rise of Rome
Simon Hall & Terry Shaw Gallic
Wayne Charlton & Simon Clarke Late Republican Roman
Philip Wilkinson and Bob Middlemist Late Republican Roman
Robert Medcraft Later Seleucid
James Hamilton & Martin Wilkinson Slave Revolt
Peter Gregory & Jon Phipps Late Republican Roman
Paul Freeman & Dene Green Later Seleucid
Nik Gaukroger & John Calvert Pontic
David & Lynda Fairhurst Bosporan
Jon Martin Later Carthaginian
Bruce Brown & Andy Bascombe Later Seleucid
Simon Green & Roger Randell Parthian
Don McHugh & Steve Hacker Later Seleucid
Phil Giles & Stephen Finn Late Republican Roman
Nigel Phillips & Clive Vaughan Early Armenian
Tim Porter & Adam Worsdale Later Carthaginian
Rise of the Ottomans
Richard & Thomas Bodley Scott Later Polish
Andy Whitby & Brian O'Dea Later Hungarian
Martin Hayes & Roger Draper Later Hungarian
Dave Ruddock & Martin Buxton Later Serbian
Andy Claxton & Steve Taylor Later Ottoman
Andy Ellis & Bob Amey Later Hungarian
Kevin Fisher & Dave Allen Later Serbian
Jason Dawson & Colin Marsden Tatar
