Try installing again patch 1.11. Download from one of these mirrors:

Sorry you are having problems. Of course, you don't need to buy anything else to run the game. Hmm... an unusual problem, to be sure. We need some more info.
- What version of Windows are you using, is it x86 or x64? Is it a Windows version localized to French?
- In what folder is the game installed?
- Have you activated french language in the game? If so, have you tried it in english?
- You have this problem with all campaigns (tutorial, 1939, 1941 etc.)?
- Do you hear music? A person reading briefing text before scenario?
- After the briefing text, do you see another screen telling "TURN XX of XX" etc., or it is instantly black?
- When you say you get a black screen, is it all completely black, or you have some UI on the right etc.?
- You have tried to rename Video folder, it can help only if the game has problems right after startup (when the intro is played). But please try to rename the Audio folder in the same way, will it help in any way?
- Is there anything interesting in the game's log file? Log file is located in %My Documents%\My Games\Panzer Corps\Log\log.txt. Could you please post the contents of this file here?

Hi Phil!
Judging by your description, this issue is most likely related to memory. How much memory (RAM) does your PC have? Could you please try to open the Task Manager after you've got black screen in Panzer Corps (you can use Ctrl+Shift+Esc combination to open Task Manager), and see what percentage it shows for Physical Memory (on the bottom right of Task Manager window)? Don't terminate Panzer Corps before checking memory status.

Do you still have both games installed, the demo and the game? In which hardisk folders are they installed?

Usually Youtube only needs adobe flashplayer. Install again flashplayer.
For the other programs I don't know.
Instead of posting a partial DxDiag you should post the complete file txt report file.
How to get a Directx Dialog file:
1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. attach the txt file to your post
