So the allies get no reinforcements and must defend for 20 rounds. tough ask against a patent Axis player.
So why the hell do Axis, but not allies, get artillery? Either both get it, or no-one should get it. Axis already have superior numbers and better armor, they also have a way to destroy without even trying and allies just have to hope the barrage misses.

I haven't played it for a year or so so cant remember the details but most of these newer missions have random reinforcements. It could be the randomness just favoured axis in your game? The balance on the scenarios is almost certainly not perfect but we don't have regular complaints which suggests its not badly wrong.

I appreciate taking the time to reply. My complaint isn't really anything to do with reinforcements. Sure taking down a King Tiger is hard with just shermans, 17Rdps and bazzokas but not impossible. My main complaint is the artillary the stronger side get. I don't see why that is nessecary for Axis. In the game i played 2 out of 3 of my main tank destroying cannons just died to the artillary and air strikes. A panzerwerfer made it all the more lopsided.
I would have thought that constant reinforcements would have been enough of a benefit to overcome defender v attacker advantages without the point and click destruction of "hidden" defenders.

Have you tried playing from the other side? The only way to see if a mission is unbalanced is to play both sides a number of times.

in MP this scenario is very tough for the allies, though its possible to win it......
replacing the sherman with sherman 76s and adding a couple of HT + bazookas would even things out.......alternatively the number of turns couldbe reduced and rocket artillery removed

I have played this about 12 or 15 times as the germans. Against a really skilled opponent and a bad force draw as the Germans, I won with only 3 turns remaining. Most of the other games I won with 5+ turns remaining. When I got a excellent force draw I was in striking distance of the bridge with 10 turns left (but my opponent resigned). I have never won as the allies. The Germans need to be really incompetent (or have never played this one even once) to lose. Allied reinforcements, or a strong OB for the allies. less turns, no artillery (that really makes it easy to win). Any of those would make it more balanced.

I am setting up a challenge for whoever wants to pick it up.... I'll try to give you a run for your money as the allies (I have to admit I never lost this one as the Germans,,,,,)...Its still fun to play as the allies and see how much damage you can inflict on the german assault...
