Help with Modding needed

I start a game with my mod and the changes I made to SQUADS and TWEAKS are there. But the changes to SIDES and CITIES are not applying. I got both files in Gates of Troy/MOD/Mymod/data/maps/Grand Campaign but when starting a game only squads and tweaks changes are available... I tried all Grand Campaign maps (Normal , Rome and Persia and 1500bc) but without any success. Any ideas why this is ?

Do you have Spartan installed as well as if you have both it bolts them together and I don't know if it runs from the data in Spartan or GoT.

If that doesnt help it is likely a file patch issue - either something is in the wrong folder/subfolder or wrong file name.
