Looking for confirmation here, if I take an internal ally for a MRR army, I can have up to 32 bases of Princeps/Hastati (in total - 16 in "main" army and 16 for the ally) upgraded to superior as veterans?

I don't see any provision in the MRR list to allow internal allies. In the case where internal allies are allowed, an ally commander would be listed in the section of the list where commanders are listed. I don't see any allied commander list there or with the other allowed allies at the end of the list.
