Hi Hidde, I've added you to the Allied private thread on viewforum.php?f=216
Go ahead and introduce yourself to Jcb and the team... They'll be brainstorming Allied strategies for June 9th...
Good luck soldier! ;-)

Hi GottaLove88s,
I'm fine with playing allies. As for experience, I bought this on PC when it first came out, I've played hundreds of games vs ai and recently started playing multiplayer. I would consider myself an intermediate player.

Thanks Corey, I've added you to the Allied private thread... You'll find it at the top of the BA Tournaments & Leagues thread... Intro yourself to the guys. I suspect they'll be talking strat for June 9th.
Based on your assessment, I'm guesstimating a grade C (Major)... Real players are MUCH sneakier than AIs (Try JC or Jcb989 and you'll quickly see what I mean! ;-)).
Let me know later if you'd like to raise/lower that initial grade as we continue the campaign...
Good luck!

From Buron and Ouistreham... I guess it's becoming obvious that choosing a viable approach route is vital to success... Shorter routes might be faster, but quite possibly not winnable, or certainly not without heavy losses... Careful examination of the features on the Strat Map is richly rewarded...

Will be interesting to see if German assault on Caen... from a difficult direction, towards the fortified chateau... has succeeded...??

OUCH! Bayeux urban won't be easy down 2 scouts, 2 recon cars... Isn't that what you did last time?
I think we need to promote your rank... You're moonlighting too low P-A!

Hmm, ok, I'll push you up from B/C to B/C+, lol... Scandinavian modesty?
If you keep beating other B's (especially B's that are really A's! ;-)) then I'll push you to B as well...

Commanders/teams,

With only Bayeux 2 now to report battle results for June 8th, please begin to consider your strategic moves for June 9th... PM me with any questions (or post here, if it doesn't give the game away! ;-)).

P-A has updated the Strat Map here -> viewtopic.php?f=87&t=38844&p=383684#p383615
Numbers in the top left of the icons show how many units are left in that BG
