Game guide errata
Hi gents,
The only manual errata I have found is in page 45: Retreat and Rally icons are the same.
Very nice game guide, by the way.

Wow, good work.
I must add one or two things....
1.) No scenario editor (the manual tells so in the options' page)
2.) Nice old graphics for the battle planning screen and army camp screen are shown in the manual, but they were dsicarded/rejected for the final game version. I happen to like the old ones more!!!!! (one shows a line of cool legionaries marching...)

A glitch?
Ave Ian,iainmcneil wrote:Thanks guys - it will be down to the publisher whether they do a re-print though.
What follows is slightly off topic but I didn't want to start a new one.
I've been checking out the sample armies through the Multiplayer button, one army which is described as
Militia Army, Romans, 500 denari, 2,000 XP comes up with a Celtic army (with only 65 XP left)? I've tried several
times and always with the same result. Do you have any theories as to why this is happening? Is this one of the
bugs we will have to live with until a patch or upgrade is available?
Still, even with the above, this is, with out a doubt, the best game I have ever played.
Keep well,
Vale

I have a feeling you must have overwritten the Roman army and saved a Celtic army into it yourself, or renamed a saved game accidentally? If you're sure that didn't happen I'll check it out - but if everyone else has the correct army, it almost impossible that your version would be different.
As for new threads, its best to keep each tread on topic as it makes it easier for people to read

Ave Duncan,
I love Spain, I've only visited once (La Manga) in the mid 80s, but what a once!!!!
Have you been reading my numerous messages posted over the past week or so?
I've looked at some of my earliest ones again, they were pretty naive, eh?
I'm learning though, a very steep learning curve.
Most of all I enjoy the research to find out all I can so that I may give my troops the best
possible chance of surviving right up to the "Final Battle", and , of course, I want to win!!
It's great fun being an immortal, the time span we're campaigning over is several hundred years.
At this stage I've been as far as scenario #31. I read somewhere the Roman Campaign ends with the
invasion of Britain. Are we talking about Julius Caesar's invasion in 56 and 55 BC or the Claudian
invasion of 43 AD? I'd prefer it if it were the latter, but the first is OK.
How are you doing, got any tall tales to tell, of how you came this -- close to winning?
Keep well,
Vale

the Roman Campaign ends with the civil wars and the ultimate victory of Octavius. The gaul's last two campaigns cover both Julius Cesar invasion and later invasion (and occupation)...
I've played through both campaigns, but on normal (it should be "easy",

What I can do, to save you the trouble of any extra work, is to move my saved games (as per "Saved Games").
Then remove the game from my hard drive, using control panel, and then reinstall it. That way if I've somehow
done something wrong, the reinstalled game should correct it. What thinketh thou?

I've just finished that which I proposed I would do (a bit tortuous), sadly, the problem persists.
You'll have to check your end.
