1805 asttachments

Trying to make an 1805 Austrian army from Emperors and Eagles and I noticed there are no restrictions about skirmishers being attached to grenadiers. The 1805 list for Austria in Italy, and most other lists I can think of, state that skirmishers can not be attached to a grenadier unit. Was this something that was missed in the lists custom army section or is it an exception to the normal restrictions?

Its an exception to the normal restriction.
The balance of the army is quite subtle....
> Only Jagers can be used as attachments to grenadiers (not grenzers) - because ALL grenzers including attachments must be in the first mixed division.

We reasoned that since the few jagers available were only allocated in companies, and that the grenadiers were deployed in divisions that may also contain line infantry units, it would be unreasonable to assume that a jager company assigned to a division that also contained grenadiers wouldn't have been attached to them in some situations.
We could have chosen not to permit them in a combined grenadiers/cuirassier division, but since it's only a single attachment it didn't seem worth adding an extra bullet point.

actually the list has only 3 divisions commanders in it so you can't have a 4th division. points aside I had put in the grenadiers and the cuirassier then found out I was 2 line short of the minimum so its back to the spread sheet again
looks like there won't be any grenadiers in this one, at 900 points I can't get them in the army. The froggies should be happy
