Awesome response guys. Thanks a lot - we can rule out location as a factor then I think.

I'm having the same problem, either downloading or sending the turns, since last week. From the evening until midnight it just doesn't work... I'm on an Ipad 3rd gen, location Spain.

Hi guys, we performed some server updates at around 17:30 GMT. Hopefully this should solve the problems people have been seeing. Please report if you are still seeing the same issues.
Sorry again for the interruption.

Good job, much better now. But how come I lost half of my completed games? Before I had a list of 65 or so and now it's down to 35.

I think the guys spotted that the automated removal of older completed games wasn't running and turned it back on.

Received this at 21:41 GMT slightly different to the other threats.
Dear ironworks,
We note you are still consistently downloading your turns multiple times.
If you are having technical issues you need to contact our tech support team immediately via slitherine
A member of the team has been notified and your account will be locked out of the PBEM++ system until the issue is resolved.
Regards,
The Slitherine Team.
A response from the tech team would be appreciated as this is getting beyond a joke!

The system sends out these emails automatically, but no action is taken against accounts without the intervention of a human being. As the team are aware of the issues we have been having you need not worry.ironworks wrote:Received this at 21:41 GMT slightly different to the other threats.

Thanks Pip
Maybe having a sever response that is a little more informative and a little less inflammatory would be seen as a step forward?
Ps..downloading ok at the moment.

Hmmmm, after flawless performance yesterday I have just had to give up on uploading a turn. Seems problems are not over yet.pipfromslitherine wrote:Hi guys, we performed some server updates at around 17:30 GMT. Hopefully this should solve the problems people have been seeing. I've been having the same download issues for several days. I'm in Maine, USA and use an ipad. Frequently when I try to download a turn, it times out with the message "Failed to load the turn correctly. Please check your connection and try again. 0"
I've also gotten the message threatening to cut off my ability to use the PBEM server.

Re: Current PBEM Issues
Early this morning (it's now 1pm local time) I had one failed download. During the last few hours downloads are working. 4 for 4. But still got both an email and in-game message about my downloading turns multiple times.

The problem is still with us. 2120hrs Friday evening here in south Texas. I'm on a PC laptop and can not upload my turn to the server. Fails after multiple attemps.
