Hi guys

Sorry that there seem to be some ongoing PBEM problems. We're looking at things this end to try and work out what is going on. I hope we can get it solved very quickly.

Please also make sure not to ban anyone for multiple downloads. I just received an email saying that you have registered that I "consistently" download my turns multiple times and that I may be banned from PBEM games. Thanks.

Absolutely. There is never any ban-esque action without human intervention.

Just tried to upload a turn a fee minutes ago. Upload failed and did not even try to upload again. I got out of app and powered iPad off and on, got back into the app and immediately got the message "you consistently try to upload multiple times..." Directly in the app this time.

I had the same problems yesterday but turns would download the third time attempted. Today they won't download at all. Playing on an iPad 2. Internet connection is fine for everything else.

Hmmm ... Just tried on my Macbook and the turn download took 50 seconds when usually it is about 8. Again, cable Internet is up and fast for everything else.

Thanks for the ongoing reports guys. We thought we had sorted the issue, but if it is still happening obviously not. Can you give some details - are you all playing on the iPad?

I'm on the ipad. When I try to download a turn, it times out with the message "Failed to load the turn correctly. Please check your connection and try again. 0"

Having the same problems also. Yesterday and today. Playing on a PC laptop. Same one I've been using for B/A almost two years now. My internet connection is good.

It's no way near solved. Last night I was only able to complete 2-3 turns. Either they won't load or if they load succesfully there are problems waiting when I want to save the turn I just completed. Only way out seems to be to discard the turn. I'm on Ipad2 and although I did see this occur sporadically during the past 4 months the last week has been worse than ever.

Thanks for keeping the info coming. It does seem to be a cross-game issue, which is good to some extent as it means the fix is server-side, but it is possibly affecting BA more because of the sometime larger size of MP turns.

On a related note - can people give me their locations (e.g. US, Europe, etc). We have some anecdotal evidence that it is mainly affecting non-US users, but would like to get more data before we take it as a fact! :)

I'm In the US, west coast, it's been doing it for a few weeks and seemed to get progressively worse. Seems now to not want to upload any move anymore. I'm on a PC. I have all expansions loaded.

I'm on ipad 1 and in Finland. My frequent "opponent" is on macbook. It's been doing this for few days now. I hope you can sort this out soon...
