I see that the Mac version has a demo, is there going to be a demo for windows too? It would make convincing "unsure friends" much easier :)

It's not been ruled out but there are technical issues that are preventing anything happening in the near future.

I hear you on the technical issues. But as for other considerations, FWIW it was because of the demo that I ended up buying the game. I probably would not have otherwise.
