GME with German Panzer Coirps

I don´t seem to be able to use GME to import campaigns. I have the German Panzer Corps installed, at 1.11, with GC39-42. I tried to import the IJA Campaign, two files. When I press start, nothing happens. When I start the GC, I see GC briefings, German units, GC maps, but IJA tiles. Am I doing something wrong or doesn´t GME work with the German version ? Switching to English language didn´t change the problem.

Hi,

this sounds like a problem with the split installation.

I use a German version of PzC v1.11 myself, so this should play no role.
May I ask if you have read the installation guide for the campaign I put up recently here:

If there's something unclear or misleading I may have to rework it, but apart from this, did you follow the steps to setup GME and install the mod as described there?

Edit: did you explicitly select the IJA campaign from the list (access via the sun icon) or did you just click the "play" button? Could be that button still wants to start the main game then if you specify no other campaign.

Thanks for the tips! Your guide helped me understand the folder structure of Panzer Corps, a lack which caused the mistake. The guide is pretty easy to understand.

Anyway, regarding the campaign, in the first scenario, there are no victory conditions. Is that intentional ?

Ahh, that is an older error. It looks as if you still have those scenario files that came with the first release v0.8 (the small download that goes into "my games/etc.")

Please use the v1.0 scenario files, they should correct also a number of other issues

The installation is identical to the one described for scenario files in the guide under 2.1.

Those new files from v1.0 completely replace the older scenario files, so you might just replace the whole IJA
Redux Campaign folder in My Files\My Games\Panzer Corps\Mods with the new one.


I'll update the guide asap to stress the need to use v1.0 versions for both GME and scenario files.
