Panzer Corps runíng on a windows 8 tablet

Hello there,

im runing Panzer Corps on a windows 8 tablet (Acer Iconia Tab W700) and it's a great experience to play the game by touching units and move them to their target by touching the dispay again.
That's exact the way, games like this should be played

There is only one problem: When touching the battlefield near its borders, the field starts scrolling in that direction and it's hard to stop this and the screen seems to freeze for seconds bevor I can scroll back to the wanted position.

To fix this and make Panzer Corps to one of the best touch- controlled games, there "only" might be a flag in the settings, to disable scrolling when mouse or - in this case - my finger touches the border of the battlefield.

Seems like not so hard to implement it, in one of the next releases and you would make not only my day but my complete year

Thanks for the info - we don't officially support the win8 tablet but if we can make some small changes that help we'll look at it. A video might be useful if you can do one.

There is no option like this yet, but I wonder if setting the scroll speed to minimum would improve your experience?

BTW, what is your preferred way to scroll the map on the tablet? Do you drag the map with your finger, or use strategic map or minimap?

I think direct finger scrolling would work better than putting the finger on the map to scroll.
