Buying Land Transport

Vanilla GC - How do I buy ground transport for a towed artillery that's already in the game?

You can equip an existing unit with a transport by using the 'upgrade' function and adding a transport (select the transport you want and press the 'upgrade' button). This way you can also upgrade an existing transport to something else.

If by 'in the game' you mean active on the map during a scenario, keep in mind that the upgrade function is only available to units that begin their turn on a city hex. The city hex must also have had your control flag on it for at least one turn prior, the same rule that applies to buying new units from city hexes.
