They look like they might provide a way to have some nice latex terrain that I could customise and would be cheaper than Miniature World Maker. A 14x11 inch piece works out around £7, even after international postage.
Has anyone seen or tried this stuff and, if so, do you have a view on which is the best type to use?
Has anyone tried Zuzzy's Terrain mats?

Yes, I bought some samples (11 x 14 inch) of various patterns, you can get a normal and a small bit out of eachThe 'Moorland' was a bit disappointing but the others look good with a bit of drybrushing and flock. I also got a 2 ft square which did quite a few bits, including a large one. I thought the prices were good in comparison to the other rubber terrain, but it is thinner. I'll be at Usk this weekend, I can show you what they are like.

yes, you might be right
.... I'm reminded of the scene in "lock , stock..."
"Let me tell you about Hatchet Harry. Once there was this geezer called Smithy Robinson, who worked for Harry. It was rumoured that he was on the take. Harry's invited Smithy 'round for explanation. Smithy didn't do a very good job. Within a minute, Harry's lost his rag. Reached out for the nearest thing at hand, which happened to be a 15-inch black rubber c@ck. He's then proceeded to batter poor Smithy to death with it. Now, that was seen as a pleasant way to go. Hence, Hatchet Harry is the man you pay if you owe. "
