Good idea, but given it seems that some are adverse to counters as they clutter up the table, I suggest double sided markers as an alternative to placing an extra counter.
I go to the same club as Dave R and we use the traffic light Green/Yellow/Red (which was taken from "Johnny Reb" and "Command Decision") as it is easy to see what is happening, at £1 for 25 tiddlywinks its cheep and it's obvious and its simple to understand.
I'm not sure how spending £10 on special tokens, is an enhancement over this cheep/simple system.
