Afrika Corps install - Can't access my old saved games

Hello - I have been playing Panzer Corps and all the DLCs for sometime and have several saved games and saved cores. I decided today to buy Afrika Corps. I installed it on my computer. However, when I load a saved game, the Panzer Corps control panel is on the right, but the screen is totally blank. Plus, the game is frozen and I have to ctrl-alt-delete to get out. I can play new games of both PC and Afrika corps with no problem. When I save a new game now, it works and will load. My old saves (which I worked hard for!) aren't accessible.

The save game files themselves are still in the "save" and "savecore" folders.

Does anyone know what might my problem be? Have I somehow lost the ability to access my old saved games? Help!!

The installation seems to be corrupted.

You can start by trying to download and install patch 1.11, from one of these mirrors:
http://www.matrixgames.com/products/399/downloads/

If that doesn't fix, than you'll have to uninstall the DLC's first and next Panzer Corps. Check if there are any files left in the folder where Panzer Corps was installed.
Then install using this order:

1. Panzer Corps
2. DLC GC 39 - DLC GC 45 (starting with 39 and ending with 45)
3. Afrika Korps
4. DLC GC 42-43 West and DLC GC 44 West (in case you don't have any of these, please install patch 1.11)

Downloading and installing patch 1.11 fixed the problem. I can now access and load all of my old saved games now, even those from the DLCs East and West.
