Solly (Mamluks) 20/33 vs Voskarp (Timurids) 30/27
Timurids want to circle in right flank. A sacrifice of some units and a river hold the initiative.
In the centre one more frontal charge one to the other. The superior armour of mamluks make a great difference

Re: LORDS OF THE STEPPE circa 1400
fogman (timurids) 30/27 vs solly (lithuanians) 31/31
timurids use large stretch of fields and elephants to anchor their forces and blunt the impact of polish knights. heavy fighting erupted on both wings, each side keeping its shape, and so it went down the wire.

Solly (Polish) 29/33 vs Iandavidsmith (Timurids) 28/28
Timurids fragmented is force in two strong wings. The polish turn to the left wing and sacrifice a retroguard in the other side.
After many confused melee the left of timurids was destroy while the right wing don't was enough for timurid's counterplay.

Re: LORDS OF THE STEPPE circa 1400
Thanks everyone for participating and finishing games quickly. You made my job easy.
I'm very pleased with the format. This is what I had envisionned. Even though armies were similar there were enough differences to make them all interesting and subject to different styles of play.
Games were competitive and fun without having to deal with rankings and such that make some people unpleasant and turn off many players in other tournaments. From a personal point of view, I am only interested in playing historically correct games so this is the perfect avenue.
Some statistics:
Army (Win-Loss-Tie) avg. loss/avg. size vs avg loss/avg size (opposition)
Lithuanians (5-2-1) 24.1/31.3 vs 31.3/30.6
Poles (5-3-0) 23/30.5 vs 29/30.4
Timurids (2-5-1) 30.9/31.6 vs 24.5/31.9
Mamluks (2-5-0) 30.7/30.1 vs 20.6/30.4
Russians (3-3-0) 25.7/31 vs 27.5/31.3
Ottomans (2-1-0) 24.7/32.3 vs 26/33.3
