Basing for Swiss Pike

Post by pcelella »

I'm putting together some medieval figs, including pikemen, and was wondering how Swiss pike will get based. Most of the pike units listed in the sample army lists are heavy foot. Some other rulesets have Swiss pike as medium foot - to increase their mobility and terrain capabilities, and I was wondering if FoG was going to do something similar. I would just like my medieval pike to maybe do double duty sometimes as Swiss, and wanted to make sure that if I based the figs as HF, I would still be able to do this.

Thanks

Peter

Swiss pikemen in FoG are HF and so are based on a 40mm x 15mm base in 15mm.

However, it won't actually matter if you base them on a deeper base, say, 20mm as base depth doesn't matter much in F0G.

I'll probably just base them on 15mm deep then and not worry about it. Thanks
