BG Rotation Probs

Has anyone else been having rotation problems? Once I move BGs, I try to rotate a bit, but the BG ends up rotating backwards, sideways, almost every way except the way I want it. Then I can't get it to rotate any further, and am left with BGs facing in all kinds of directions.

Ok i had the same problem and what you have to do is the following.Select your battle group click on it and then press right Alt on your key board and hold it down while you rotate your battle group to the correct positionm then double click and it should stay there. I think this is how we had to do it before Dan changed it to allow the mouse to operate rotation. So once youve finished you can rotate any battle roup to the correct position.

RALT is not required for normal rotation, but for rotation forcing (ie rotating enemy BG's ,etc), which is a debug feature to ease the setup of testing positions.

Normal rotation requires only RMB (right mouse button), and it can be done in two ways:
- the old way, in which you select a BG, RMB and hold then drag while still holding it down
- the new way, which requires you to select a BG, RMB on it, drag the mouse around to change the facing (without any need to still keep the RMB pressed), then RMB again when you're satisfied with facing change

you can switch between the two behaviors by using the Debug Menu (F12), Misc tab, rotation sticky witch
