How to Zoom?

I'm on vacation and don't have access to my normal computer, so I'm playing on a laptop with a touchpad instead of a proper mouse and it's, err, touchy.

I keep accidentally zooming out on the main map, but can't find a way in the manual to zoom back in. Is there a hotkey or control I can use to zoom back in? Thanks.

Zoom is controlled using the mouse wheel. I guess your touchpad has some way of reproducing mouse wheel scrolling. Sometimes this is done by running your finger up the right hand side of the touchpad.

Brilliant, thank you! That explains why I couldn't reproduce the zooming out, but it kept happening by accident.
