Italy can surrender any moment. This picture taken mostly to show StuGIII SPG playing the role of italian armour unit.

Weather stays fair in November and US soldiers secured Rome, closing Italian campaign.
Here we have case of Allied Ultimate Infantry - its quite rare even this days, is not it?

Morris proved that he is true master in cracking lesser Fortress Europe strategy. When Doug used this strategy against me, I scored much less spectacular result (something like late 1944- early 1945 Allied Victory, can't recall).
By the way I have to admit that Morris plays not much better on tactical level, then in our previous game and can be considered truly elite opponent.

Thanks him for this great (but short) game and thank you all for following!

I have yet to score an Allied Ultimate Victory (excluding surrenders) against a non-newbie in 2.1, so for me, it's impressive that Morris did so well against a very skilled opponent. This AAR also shows that in order to win you need to do sth big (like Spain/Sea Lion) if you are going for Fortress Europa strategy and are playing against an aggressive player like Morris.

By the way I won vs. brilliant agressive player using very this strategy. That was actualy basic reason, why I used it in this game.

The three fair weather in Oct & Nov did kill Italy .Otherwise ,we can't land around Rome ,& it will take 4-5 more turns to conquer 5 other Italian surrender cities .

Thanks Plaid for this great AAR ! Thanks for the his gentleness patient !

His counterattack in Polland was impressive although it still could not stop the Russian's steamroller !
Regarding to the skills , I have learnt a lot from Plaid & other opponents like Joe ,Peter, Doug ,kragdob,Duncan,oh also Max . I found my skill was so poor & even still not know the rules(like free French in Joe's AAR &Finland's out rule...) Great thanks to all my teachers ! :)
