I'm probably missing something obvious but I can't find anything on how to tell a multiplayer game to allow the German side to go first.
Any suggestions?

Don't know if it will work for MP but there may be something in links below that might help

Thanks Richcat,
Had a look at those earlier...and gave it a try...but got a weird error message so gave up. I was hoping there was an easy fix here that I was just overlooking.

With MP there isn't any way to have the "other" side go first, as it would need to propogate out to the MP system for it to change the server settings to who had the game in their "to go" list.

Thanks Pip...so the Allies always go first? I tried changing the sides but that just seem to mess things up. Not a big deal, but would be handy if we could dictate the Axis goes first in some situations.

Mac/Pip,
I've never tried this, but if BA won't let us setup so that the Germans go first, is there a way to trick it with GetSide/GetTurn functions? To tell it to skip the Allies first turn...?
Might not be pretty but could achieve the same effect?

Re: Changing who goes first
You can set up a campaign where the Germans go first (France is a good example). You just need to make it in the same way as you would make a SP campaign where you played as the Axis, altering the sides file to make Axis side 0.

Thanks Pip...I did have a look at France as an example but soon realized that the Germans would then always go first for every scenario in the campaign correct? There is no way to alternate depending on the scenario is there?

Not currently. It's something that is on the wishlist. You could probably allow the allies to deploy, then skip to the germans playing, which could be close.
