-3D - Nothing crazy, but I really liked the units/animations in CIV V
-Hex based
-Turn based
-Platoon management at the Company level (nothing lower than platoon)

I was in uniform during the 70s. I can't really get into playing games of this era, just too personal for me I suppose. I expected to die at Fulda for most of my time in the army. I wonder how many Nam vets like nam games? Or if many Israelis like middle eastern settings?

WW2 is to me, just history, something my grandfather never talked about (he got to enjoy the long left flank).
