cannot install updates

I purchased a new laptop, with windows 7. I have installed the basic version of Panzer Corps from my disk, but I cannot get any of the updates to install.The site tells me it is downloading, but once it seems to have finished downloading, I get an error message telling me the update cannot be downloaded. I have tried it with 1.01 and 1.11. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

The ingame patch downloader seems to be buggy. Try this link instead:

Thanks. I just tried that link. It said it was downloading, but after about 20 minutes it said the file cannnot be downloaded.
