Greetings Miniature Gamers,
The next Field of Glory (Osprey's Ancient and Medieval) game will be on Saturday, January 26th from 11am to 6pm at Aero Hobbies in Santa Monica, CA.
Aero Hobbies
2918 Santa Monica Blvd # 3
Santa Monica, CA 90404
(310) 828-5264
Aero Hobbies will graciously provide us with table space up to 4' by 32'. They have parking in the back.
If you do come, please bring the following if you have them:
- 15mm terrain; fields, water features, vineyards, hills, etc.
- 12" ruler
- 6 sided dice; a dozen would be useful (with some different colors)
- 15mm ancient/medieval figures, as many as you can bring
If you're interested and can make this, please let me know so I know how much material to bring. Likewise if you know folks who are interested, please invite them and tell them to RSVP to this email. Also please let me know if you're bringing lead and what type of armies that you have, so I can organize the game(s).
I'll be teaching the game for folks who have never played before.
Some of the players will be brand new, so they don't have any figures.
This is a beta test version of the rules. As such we don't have complete army lists, but there is enough material to be able to pretty much put together any list.
I've played this game three times. Lots of fun!
The website devoted to these rules is www.fieldofglory.com (There is a discussion forum on this website.)
See below for more details.
btw if people wish to use 25mm, that's certainly okay.
Smiles,
Bob
