Re: LOEG Season 9 - Communications and results - Dark Ages
Div A iverson jm(Khurasanian Saminids) 0/41 v. eric (Dailami Buyids) 12/35
Matt resigned the game with a turn to go (26 turns), I think or the game automatically ends on turn 25.
Never payed a competitive game all the way before so no idea when game automatically finishes.
Matt had set up his troops perfectly on clear hills and I got way too close. Luckily, prob due to the IC, I was bale to pull out most of my troops, having to leave a rear guard or 6 (12 bp loss) to slow down his advance.

A strange decision for Matt the resign. If he had played another turn he would have been awarded a victory by the game and a draw by the competition rules. One point is better than none!

Ian
We will both get a draw and 1 pt each.
It had been agreed upon a while back a draw was going to happen, prob turn 15 or 16. However I did ask him "we can call it a draw and I resign on my turn".
Again not sure when the game ends. matt resigned on turn 25. It would be or would it be my turn next on the 26th turn. I had a disrupted dailami unit whereas Matt had a disrupted lf unit. Prob may have been a 12 - 14 vs 2. Although I may have been tempted to charge in a few units on my last turn. A draw would have still been the same result. The bp difference would have prob been different.
PS Still waiting for your turn/move, 11 Dec was last move:)

Cavehobbit (Western Hunnic (Attila)) 32/39 vs Rexhurley (Foederate roman (Western)) 34/34
Two armies with mainly cavalry on an open plain. Each side took control of their left flanks and looted each others camps.
Thanks for a great game and well played!

Actually, I didn't resign. I played out my turn 25 and then it ended on me. No sure how it showed up on Eric's end. I was surprised as the screen showed (T30) on the upper right, so I thought it was going to run until T30. A bit disappointing, actually, as things were just starting to happen.ianiow wrote:ericdoman1 wrote:Div A iverson jm(Khurasanian Saminids) 0/41 v. eric (Dailami Buyids) 12/35

Re: LOEG Season 9 - Communications and results - Dark Ages
Had a proper look and it says a defeat for me.
The game ends before turn 26?
I am classing this as a draw as there was no outright winner, that is a player has lost his army.
It is a very rare occurrence for this to happen in LOEG but I believe 1 point each is the correct score.
Entered the bp losses in table but the score cell remained blank. Have contacted Mike/Triarius as both of us should receive 1 pt.

Re: LOEG Season 9 – Communications and results – Classical P
Have been notified by Claymore that he is playing in 12 games and that he has been very busy due to work.
ZumHeuriger has also contacted me and has a number of games underway.
As for Radio. I have not been contacted.
I advise all players in Radio's division to play other player's first, Hopefully he is OK and will start playing soon.
If somebody has his email address could you contact him please.
