On-board artillery too accurate?

Post by Najanaja »

Firstly I'd like to thank all those associated with the design of the "unofficial"' scenarios. These are some of the most enjoyable and popular games available.

From my own experience and discussions with other players, it seems that with a bit of experience and enough artillery and scouts, in some games, any infantry unit that reveals itself will very likely be killed in the following turn.

I'm speaking about the use of on-board artillery such as SPAs (eg Priests, wasps etc) not mortars.

I'd be interested to hear what other players think about this. My own view is that SPAs firing in their turn (without delay) are too effective.

A simple solution could be to make infantry that revealed themselves in their turn invisible in their opponents turn unless under direct observation.

This has been talked about alot...Hopefully it will be addressed in the new BA2 that will come out. I think it should be more dispersed in the hits dept..and not be soo accurate. I can see if you had a "Scout" say acting as a spotter and was not visible...maybe abit more accuracy...but, not too much.
