PM Outbox holding emails

Not sure if you guys can fix/do anything about this, but I thought I'd let you know. I'm trying to reply to a PM but the reply just sits in my Outbox. I don't use PM often but this has happened a couple of times now...will the messages eventually go through?

I've experienced the same thing,....and yes they do eventually go through,...but I had one PM sit in the Outbox for 6 hours?? Weird. It eventually was sent.

PM will sit in the outbox until the person you PM'ed opens it, I believe.

That is my understanding, too. Imagine my dismay to see a message sitting in there 3 weeks later.
Anybody know where OldManRick went off to? He pretty much only played the Merr random maps.
