Red Dawn campaign
This is a mini-campaign exploring the end of the war in Europe and 'what-if' it had all gone pear-shaped and Stalin had wanted 'more'. The Russians have decided to try to extend their influence beyond the Elbe and you and your men (and a horde of auxiliaries!) are all that stand between them and a Soviet Europe - a Red Dawn.
Campaign Overview
The PDF covers the campaign tree, installation and tips for each scenario.
Data File
Uses the Maelstrom (Europe) files. Extract to main Panzer Corp folder in MODS.
Use the Generic Module Enabler (GME) to swap in and out. Forum instructions here.
Any questions or comments etc. please post here.
Cheers

Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) *** NEW DEC 2012 ***
Nice conclusion to the great experience that Maelstrom brings. Just a few minor things I've noticed in the city that Saw War: typo in the briefing (HiroshimA) and the mention about a "new" type of weapon is a bit out of place. There were plenty of IS3 tanks present in all previous Red dawn scenarios, so either those needed to be IS2 or the prototype was meant to be an IS4? There were actually about 250 build of the IS4 during WW2.

Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) *** NEW DEC 2012 ***
The confusion comes from not having a JS-3 icon. The ones at Germany, France and Hungary are JS-2s - the 3 only appears at Warsaw. Unfortunately, there is little difference between the 2 and the 3 in Red Dawn - in fact, it's just a slight colour difference. It is the first time the 3 appears in the campaign, though. Will fix the Hiroshima typo. Cheers.

Umm ... no really, I've checked a savegame from the Evil Empire map and those are clearly IS 3 tanks in there.

Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) *** NEW DEC 2012 ***
Hey, you're right. The France scenario came later in the campaign and only as a loss scenario in the original Red Dawn. I thought that was a waste of a fun scenario so I made it part of the campaign path and changed the date but forgot to change those IS-3s. I have now changed them all to IS-2s with 10 strength.
So, you stayed and faced the Russians - how did that go?

Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) *** NEW DEC 2012 ***
Pretty well actually! I lost a few 8-strength P-26's I could finally buy for this scenario, but my saved core units from the earlier Maelstrom campaign survived. This was key to getting a DV (finally!) in the rescue scenario. I remember playing that one without a single tank in my core when you initially released it and that was just impossible
Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) DEC 2012
How exactly do I import my core? I just finished the US campaign and started red dawn, but it seems I got a brand new unexperienced core.

Any chance you could put the IS-3 graphics up either here or on my War of the World forum? They would make a nice addition to WotW 1.1, considering there are no units after 1945 as yet.

Halibutt, did you follow the installation instructions for use with the GME?
Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) DEC 2012
Yes, to the letter. "Maelstrom - US Campaign - Europe" and "Maelstrom - US Campaign - Red Dawn" are in \My Games\Panzer Corps\Mods, "Maelstrom (Europe)" is in my GME mod folder. When I finish the last scenario of Europe, I get the German Unconditional Surrender, even though I captured all the objectives (including Warsaw). When I restart the scenario, I can get the "International incident" through "endscn 0" cheat code, but it doesn't do anything, the game just ends.

Re: Maelstrom (Red Dawn) DEC 2012
So you see the mods like the below example but can't import a saved core at the beginning of the Red dawn part?

Then I'm at a loss, because it works fine for me
